“Topslip” is core area of ATR. and a part of Western Ghats and it is located above 800 feet above from the sea level on the Anaimalai mountain ranges near by Valparai and Pollachi. Topslip is situated 35 kms from Pollachi. Topslip is a pollution free heavenly tourist destination, stands majestically with Green Spread Mountains and forest all around. The unique teak forests, Bamboo forests, rich exotic species of plants and wild animals are the major attractions of Topslip.
Topslip is an important eco-tourist centre with in the Anaimalai Tiger Reserve Core area, formerly Indira Gandhi National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary (sanctuary covers 958 sq.kms of core area). Separated from the Nilgiri Hills by the Palghat Gap on the north, the Park is contiguous to the Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary (Kerala) to its west and to the Eravikulam National Park (Kerala) and Chinnar Wild life sanctuary.
Topslip is located in the core area of The Anamalai Tiger Reserve sanctuary in Tamil Nadu, lies in the Western Ghats south of the Palghat Gap, better known as Anaimalais (Mountain of Elephants). With an core area of 958 sq.Kms. it is rich in flora and fauna. This protected area constitutes the most important watershed for the agricultural economy and power supply.

Reaching Topslip from Pollachi is about 35kms Via Sethumadai. Sethumadai is the entry point to Topslip and Parambikulam. Tamilnadu forest check post officials will help you to enter the Tiger Reserve. Vehicle and Entry fee applicable.
